"I really appreciate belonging to the National Network for the Arts in Health—
when I have had to struggle (often) against indifference to the value of Arts in Health."

who we are

The National Network for the Arts in Health as an organisation has ceased to exist. However, the National Network for the Arts in Health as a network carries on. This website is open to all who are interested in this field of practice.

This includes:

• Government Departments and Government Agencies, as well as funding bodies and policy makers working in both the Arts and Health sectors

• NHS Trusts including hospitals, primary care units, mental healthcare facilities, doctors, nurses, General Practitioners, researchers, Hospital Chairs and Chief Executives

• Local Authorities - from Borough to Metropolitan Councils

• Universities, Arts Colleges, and Medical Schools

• Artists spanning the full spectrum of the arts and creative industries - over 30 different art forms are registered on the NNAH database

• Arts and medical students

• Community arts organisations

• Charities with a special interest in health, women, children, the elderly and other specialised areas where Arts in Health activities form part of the services they deliver.
